This is a photo of Annie Arnold Smith, wife of Dandridge Smith. Dandridge Smith, son of Jane and Porter, was born on August 24, 1840.  He followed his father’s footsteps and became a blacksmith. He stayed in the Gum Springs area after the Civil War and married a woman named Annie M. Arnold who was born on November 6, 1854.
